After creating “A Study in Scales,” where I painted some of my designs using a monochromatic color scheme and displayed them in rainbow order, I was inspired to combine these monochromatic schemes into one piece. I combined these scales buy dividing my original design into 6 or 8 sections and using a different monochromatic scale in each section. The result was the start of my Color Wheel series.
